Tamaki Team Expansion

The Tamaki ITM team continues to expand as we grow to offer a greater level of support and services to our customers.  Some of the new names and faces you'll hear or faces you’ll see on-site or in-store:

Tonga Tuita joined us just after Christmas as a new hi-ab driver, and is already flat-out delivering frames & trusses plus other building materials all over the country. One of his recent deliveries included a day trip to Kawau Island which involved him driving to Sandspit, catching the barge across to the island, making his delivery and returning to the mainland.  Keeping an eye on the tides was an important factor in this job!  A pity Tonga didn’t take his fishing rod, dinner for the team would have been a bonus and worth a try!

Later in January, Tanya Kennerley joined Pat & Terry in Sales Support.  Tanya comes to us with vast experience in domestic and commercial tiling and adhesives, and is on the fast-track to learning about our wider range of building products.
Next week the driving team gains another member - Peter Day who's  main focus becomes our  smaller deliveries not covered by the two Tamaki ITM hi-ab trucks.  For us an important part of our growth has been all about giving our customers what they want, when they want it!
